Wondering how to pick your newborn photographer?

So, you want to get photos of your newest little one. Yes! You won't regret that decision. I fully believe that. Whether your baby sleeps peacefully for a few hours or not, I truly believe that hiring a newborn photographer during the foggiest days of your new parent life is worth it.

First things first.

Experience is extremely important when it comes to handling your baby. Newborn photography requires much more than just technical skill with a camera—it demands a deep understanding of infant behavior, safety, and comfort. With over 12 years behind the camera, I'm in my element with newborns. I'll gently pose your baby while never causing stress or discomfort. I'll always listen to your baby and never allow them to be upset.

All of my newborn props are designed with newborns in mind. I usually prefer that outside props aren't brought in. All of mine are tested and size appropriate for babies. If you have something sentimental that you're thinking of incorporating, feel free to email me and we can discuss it to see if it can be used.

When searching websites, Facebook, Instagram, and hearing recommendations from your friends cousin's sister. This can get overwhelming. I get it.

In regards to style, I come from a pretty "clean" state. I want the images you save and print in your home to be timeless of sorts. Filters are by far the easiest thing to access in our highly digital world we live in. Just like clothing flows in and out of style, so does the style of editing. And, while sometimes those "strong" edits can be fads, I don't want to spend my life's work finding beauty in something that doesn't give a true representation of you. Your newborn should have the most perfect color skin, as that's who they are at their freshest stage.

Every detail should be noticeable, not over blurred, over edited. And, I hope that's what you find here.
